Terms and Conditions

1.Information about us. We iiris limited trading as Iris restaurant, a company registered in England & Wales under company reg number 08141525, at registered address 10 cliff parade, Wakefield, WF1 2TA. We operate the website.

2. By placing an order through our website you agree that you are:- At least 18 years of age & are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

3.Our products:- Images on our website are for illustrative purposes only and the product you receive may slightly differ to the ones shown. All weights & nutritional values are approximate. We cannot make changes of guarantee any of our food is allergen free. We will provide general advice via our personal chef call back service on cooking & reheating tips however these are provided to give you guidance and as such we accept no responsibility for loss, injury, damage or illness whilst cooking our products.

You are responsible for opening and inspecting you package on arrival and correct storage (in the fridge) of your products and as such we accept no liability for any loss, injury, illness or damage as a result of you incorrectly storing or reheating your products.

4. We will try our very best to supply you with the exact dishes that you have ordered, however from time to time due to seasonality we may have to substitute certain ingredients within your order.

5. How is the contract formed between you and us?

After placing an order with us for our products you will receive an order acknowledgement email. Please note this does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes as an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email to confirm the order has been processed for delivery. The contract will only be formed when you receive an email from us confirming the order has been processed for delivery.

5. As our products contain fresh and perishable food you are not entitled to a normal right to return within 14 days. This is because all of our products have a best before date of which will be a few days after the delivery. All food has a shelf life of 2 days.

Right to cancel an order. You can cancel an order 48 hours before your delivery day. Please contact us if you believe the food is not as described on the website.

6.Please note our dishes in house and at home may contain small bones, pips, and fruit stones and in some cases shot.

7.deliveries and collections- We accept no responsibility for orders that have been delivered to a wrong address due to you inputting incorrect details. Our driver will call you if there is nobody home to arrange a safe place to leave your delivery. We accept no responsibility for missing parcels from your ace place. if collecting please ensure you arrive to collect between the designated times, we cannot issue refunds for customers who have forgot to collect their order.

8. Discount codes- Certain discount codes are limited use for 1 per customer.

9. Cancellations. Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the delivery day. Cancellations must be received 48 hours before 9am of the delivery day.

10. All old swipe card vouchers are valid for 6 months from the time of purchase. All new gift vouchers (pink card) have an expiry date of 1 year. Gift vouchers that expired during 2020 will only be redeemed at the managements discression. Please contact us before trying to use. only 2 vouchers can be used on one table at a time.

11.restaurant reservation deposits. We require a £10 per head deposit to be paid at the time off booking during peak hours. The full amount will be deducted from your bill at the end of you meal. Deposits will be non refundable if you cancel less that 24 hours before your reservation. Deposits are paid per person, for example if you pay£40 for 4 people and only 2 people show without notice, we will only deduct £20 from your bill. Christmas party deposits are non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of the reservation- this is due to us saving the date for you party and not being able to resell your table at short notice.

In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of the arrival date we will keep the whole payment as a cancellation charge. If we are able to re-let the booking we will refund the whole payment (minus a £1 administration charge per person). In the event of a cancellation outside of 24 hours of the arrival date, we will refund the whole payment (minus a £1 per person administration charge).
